Aung Paing Thant

Aung Paing Thant lives in Yangon where he works for Oway Travel and Tours as a Corporate and Outbound Tour Manager. He became a DeBoer Fellow to share and expand his knowledge and expertise in promoting his country to outsiders through his role as a tour guide.

Clara Mang Sui Tang

Clara Mang Sui Tang lives in Yangon where she works for The American Chamber of Commerce in Myanmar as a Coordinator. She became a DeBoer Fellow to contribute her experiences in advocacy between Myanmar and the U.S. and a keen focus on education and giving back.

Helen Phyo

Helen Phyo lives in Yangon where she works for the Joint Peace Fund as a Monitoring and Evaluation Officer. She became a DeBoer Fellow to share her experiences and learn from others within the fields of community development, child advocacy and community evaluation.

Htu Sam

Htu Sam lives in Kachin State where she works for Kachin Baptist Convention as a Development Program Coordinator. She became a DeBoer Fellow to share her passion for serving those in her community and seeks to learn new ways of engaging in community development from others.

Josephine lives in Yangon where she works for Girl Determined/Colorful Girls as a Sports Program Coordinator. She became a DeBoer Fellow to continue developing leadership skills to better teach and empower women and girls to discover their own strengths.

Kay Thwe Tin Win

Kay Thwe Tin Win lives in Yangon where she works for Prestige Automobiles Co., Ltd. as a CRM and Digital Marketing Manager. She became a DeBoer Fellow to share her desire for creating a philanthropic society while exhibiting positivity and optimism with the 2018 class.

Khin Hnit Thit Oo lives in Yangon where she works for Social Enterprise as a Founder. She became a DeBoer Fellow to expand and share her knowledge of rural development management and poverty alleviation.

Khin Nyein Chan

Khin Nyein Chan lives in Magwe where she works for the University of Medicine, Magway and Ministry of Health and Sports, Myanmar as a Demonstrator in the Preventive and Social Medicine Department. She became a DeBoer Fellow to share her experience in the medical profession and her knowledge of public health.

Kyaw Swar Aung

Kyaw Swar Aung lives in Kachin State where he works for Cesvi as a Township Coordinator and Ahlinn Dagar Civil Society as a Secretary. He became a DeBoer Fellow to share and grow his knowledge and experience in reforming education, developing youth, and starting a library.

Kyaw Zaw Tun

Kyaw Zaw Tun lives in Rakhine where he works for Save the Children International as a Program Manager (Nutrition). He became a DeBoer Fellow to share his insights in providing rights for children and to gain more knowledge for development operations in Rakhine and Myanmar.

Lai Yin Win

Lai Yin Win lives in Yangon where she works for Trocaire, Myanmar as a Program Officer of Gender-Based Violence. She became a DeBoer Fellow to share her experience in helping women and girls escape from injustices and in promoting gender equality throughout Myanmar.

Mai Ki lives in Chin where she works for Together for Sustainable Development as a Director. She became a DeBoer Fellow to share her experiences of serving her community wherever there is a need and to meet more civil leaders within the 2018 class.

Maw Day Myar

Maw Day Myar lives in Shan State where she works for Women League of Burma as a Joint General Secretary 2. She became a DeBoer Fellow to share her passion for women's rights and leadership and to expand her knowledge with the 2018 class.

Mi Mi Myo Win lives in Yangon where she works for the British Council as Head of Programmes. She became a DeBoer Fellow to share her skills in training and mentoring and to further develop her passion for social enterprise.

Mo Mo Lwin

Mo Mo Lwin lives in Yangon where she works for High Tech Pretest Co., Ltd. as a Senior Manager. She became a DeBoer Fellow to share her determination and experience in finance and accounting with other change-oriented leaders.

Moe Myint Khaing lives in Mandalay where she works for Monastic Education Development Group as a Program Manager and Operation Team Leader. She became a DeBoer Fellow to share her skills in responsibility and organization and to further develop into a leader within her context.

Moe Thu lives in Yangon where he works for World Vision International--Myanmar as an Associate Director Humanitarian and Emergency Affairs. He became a DeBoer Fellow to share his experiences working in transformation development, advocacy, and emergency for vulnerable people with the 2018 class.

Myint Myint Mon lives in Mon where she works for Jeepyah Civil Society Development Organization (JCSDO) as a Program Officer. She became a DeBoer Fellow to share her enthusiasm for helping others and her skills in communicating, leading, and implementing activities.

Nang Kham Mon lives in Yangon where she works for JJ-PUN Ltd. as a Recruitment Specialist. She became a DeBoer Fellow to share her knowledge and experience of managing, working in human resources, and mediating between people with the 2018 class.

Nay Myo Oo lives in Rakhine where he works for Lutheran World Federation as a Community Service Officer. He became a DeBoer Fellow to share his resolve to do the right thing even when it is unpopular and his practical mindset that keeps people moving and motivated.

Nyan Lin

Nyan Lin lives in Kachin State where he works for Sagawa Development Consulting Co., Ltd. as a Facilitator, Consultant, and Trainer. He became a DeBoer Fellow to share his experiences and grow in his knowledge of conducting, coordinating, and facilitating developmental processes.

Phyo Ko Ko

Phyo Ko Ko lives in Yangon where he works for City Mart Holding Co. Ltd. as a Manager. He became a DeBoer Fellow to continue developing his leadership skills in order to strengthen the country of Myanmar, as well as to share his accumulated skills in management.

Sai Mong Zin

Sai Mong Zin lives in Shan State where he works for Shan Nationalities League for Democracy (SNLD) as a Secretary of SNLD's Laikha Township. He became a DeBoer Fellow to share his experience helping to educate voters and train youth in order to give voice to local people.

Sai Naw Kham Seng

Sai Naw Kham Seng lives in Shan State where he works for the Centre for Rural Education and Development as a Director. He became a DeBoer Fellow to increase his leadership capacity and share his passion for increasing access to quality education in remote and conflict-affected areas.

Sai Woon Serth

Sai Woon Serth lives in Yangon where he works for Population Services International/Myanmar as a National Program Manager (ART). He became a DeBoer Fellow to share his knowledge of Myanmar's generosity and his passion for developing young leaders.

Salai Palian

Salai Palian lives in Yangon where he works for Paung Ku as a Program Officer. He became a DeBoer Fellow to share and expand upon his experiences working with local village groups to develop their communities and in providing funds and learning opportunities to those in need.

Sau Baung (Samuel) lives in Yangon where he works for Myanmar Good Link/Wanderlust Travel/Sense Spa as an MD, Director, and Owner. He became a DeBoer Fellow to share his experience as a volunteer, leader, and facilitator in different community works.

Saw Mar Doh Gyi

Saw Mar Doh Gyi lives in Yangon where he is currently a Senior Manager for Program Partnerships at a non-profit organization, Internews. He became a DeBoer Fellow to share his experience in program coordination, management, and development and to further develop his desire to help those in need.

Shwe Sin Chil

Shwe Sin Chil lives in Yangon where she works for myME (Myanmar Mobile Education) as an Academic Coordinator. She became a DeBoer Fellow to share her passion and further develop skills in the areas of children's education to create a healthier alternative to child labor in Myanmar.

Sithu Naing

Sithu Naing lives in Yangon where he works for Community Partners International as a Program Manager. He became a DeBoer Fellow to share his experience in training and mentoring people in the area of health.

Tha Nyan Toe

Tha Nyan Toe lives in Yangon where he works for International Finance Corporation (IFC) as a Consultant-Lighting Myanmar. He became a DeBoer Fellow to share his experience and innovative techniques in providing solar-powered electricity to people who do not have it.

Thinn Thinn

Thinn Thinn lives in Mandalay where she works for Sarus as a Board Member. She became a DeBoer Fellow to share her vision for peace and reconciliation in Myanmar, her passion for human rights, and her knowledge of the people who have been in Internally Displaced People camps.

Thinzar Oo

Thinzar Oo lives in Yangon where she works for Colors Rainbow as a Program Coordinator (Access to Justice). She became a DeBoer Fellow to share her experiences working for human rights, especially within the LGBT community.

Thit Thit Aye lives in Shan State where she works for Jhpiego in Myanmar as a Field Program Manager. She became a DeBoer Fellow to share her knowledge and experiences working with maternal and child health in populations of different cultures.

Tin Win (Tim) lives in Yangon where he works for Pyoe Khinn Latt as a Language Teacher. He became a DeBoer Fellow to share his experience of training young people and knowledge of the importance of an active population within Myanmar.

Toe Toe Naing

Toe Toe Naing lives in Bago where he works for Youth Development Center as an Assistant Headmaster. He became a DeBoer Fellow to share his experience in teaching children and classroom management and to continue to develop these competencies.

Waing May Thu lives in Yangon where she works for National Democratic Institute as a Monitoring and Evaluation Officer. She became a DeBoer Fellow in order to become further equipped to help the country's economic and social state and share her communications skills with others.

Zarchi Htike

Zarchi Htike lives in Yangon where she works for the Swiss Embassy/Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (CDC) as a Program Assistant (HA). She became a DeBoer Fellow for guidance, ideas, and critical thinking skills to incorporate into her career and daily life.
